The rules for Los Santos Life are partially derived from the Arma 3 gamemode Altis Life. This page will serve as the official rulebook for Los Santos Life.

General Conduct

  1. Respect Others: Treat all players with respect. Harassment, discrimination, and offensive language will not be tolerated.
  2. No Cheating/Hacking: Use of cheats or hacks is strictly prohibited. Players caught cheating will face severe penalties.
  3. No Exploiting: Exploiting, or abusing glitches in the game’s systems and code, is strictly prohibited. Players caught exploiting will face severe penalties.
  4. No Ban Evading: If you are banned, serve your sentence. If you are caught ban evading, you will be banned again, and have your time extended, or be permanently banned.
  5. Ban Appeals:
    1. All ban appeals must be done on Discord in the proper channels.
    2. The staff member than banned you will be responsible for your appeal.
    3. Do not message any staff member until they have addressed your appeal.
  6. No Spamming: Avoid spamming messages or actions in the chat or voice channels. This includes excessive advertising and repetitive actions.
  7. No Advertising: Do not share other servers IP’s, websites, Discord links, etc, on any of our services. (IE: In-Game, Discord, Website, etc)

Combat and Conflict

  1. No Random Deathmatch (RDM)
    1. Do not engage in combat or kill other players without valid roleplay reasons.
    2. You must engage a player and give them enough time to comply before killing them. (ie: “Hands up or die”)
    3. You must specify who you are engaging.
    4. If a player complies with demands, you must roleplay it. You cannot kill them unless they fail to comply.
    5. If one clan engages another clan, all engagement between both clans in legitimate until 5 minutes of inactivity has passed, as long as they are both bearing the clan’s tag.
    6. If someone shoots at you, you can defend yourself.
    7. You cannot engage other players using the global text chat.
  2. Hostages
    1. Do not kill restrained players.
    2. Do not kill hostage players.
    3. You cannot keep a hostage for more than 15 minutes.
    4. You cannot take the same person hostage for 30 minutes.
    5. You may freely shoot anyone who has your clan/group member hostage/restrained.
  3. No Revenge Killing: Avoid killing players simply because they killed you previously. Engage in roleplay reasons for conflict.
  4. No Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM): Do not use vehicles to ram or run over other players without valid roleplay reasons.
  5. Red Zones/Hostile Zones
    1. Red Zones and Hostile Zones are the ONLY acceptable place to deathmatch without reason.
    2. Red Zones and Hostile Zones are Kill On Sight.
    3. Hostage rules still apply.
  6. No Combat Logging: If you are actively engaged in an conflict, you are not allowed to exit the game.
  7. New Life Rule: If you die for any reason besides a bug/glitch, you cannot return back to the area for 15 minutes. You must remain more than 1 mile from the area until the 15 minutes has expired.
  8. No Meta Gaming: Do not write information about what is happening in the game in the chat.
  9. No GTA Driving: Driving off of jumps and cliffs is not considered realistic, and should not be done.

Administration and Staff Conduct

  1. Respect Admins: Admins are here to enforce the rules and ensure a smooth experience. Respect their decisions and follow their instructions.
  2. No Abuse of Power: Admins and staff must not use their position for personal gain or to target specific players unfairly.

Reporting Issues

  1. Report Rule Breakers
    1. If you witness someone breaking the rules, report it through the appropriate channels. Provide evidence if possible.
    2. Failure to report violations could result in consequences.
    3. Visit the Discord to reporting cheaters/rule breakers.
